Magnus Philippines, Inc. just recently signed up two
major contracts for key projects for a major Transportation
Group. In partnership with Oracle Philippines, Magnus
will implement the Oracle 11i suite. This project
runs from the 2nd quarter of 2003 up to 2nd quarter
of 2004. This involves the implementation of key Oracle
11i modules.
The
company has been an Oracle version 10 user for many
years and has just recently upgraded to 11i. On another
front, Magnus partnered with iAsia Digitalworks, the
system integrator in-charge for a major enterprise
application development project for the same company.
This is a first-of-its-kind major project that also
involves at least four other companies under iAsia's
wing.
This
development project runs in parallel with the Oracle
11i implementation project, and in some cases, will
integrate. The final product is envisioned to go live
in 2004.
