The
Management of Magnus in Asia is very excited that
an agreement with Magnus Holding N.V was signed for
the buy-out of all Magnus entities in Asia Pacific.
The transaction was endorsed by the shareholders of
Magnus Holding N.V. in an Extraordinary Shareholders
Meeting on January 31, 2003. As a direct result, the
Asian Management Team now fully owns all Magnus offices
in Asia, specifically in the following countries:
Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines,
Vietnam, Taiwan, Hong Kong and China.
The
main reason for the transaction is that the Executive
Board in Holland and the Management Team in Asia mutually
concluded that the changed business environment related
to providing Information Technology Services requires
different strategies in the two continents. To continue
providing best services in Europe and in Asia-Pacific,
it is in the best interest of Magnus' customers, partners
and shareholders to separate the practices not only
from a strategic point of view, but also from an ownership
perspective.
The
name "Magnus", as well as the tools and methodology
will continue to be used in both continents. Because
of the Management Buy-Out, Magnus in Asia will be
even closer to its customers and partners, and will
provide products and services in flexible ways at
very competitive pricing, fully in line with local
needs and requirements. In line with Magnus' tradition
